Gilbane is providing construction management services for the demolition and renovation of the occupied 200 South Orange Avenue building for Piedmont Office Realty Trust. The building is the tallest building in Central Florida at 30 stories and rising to 441 ft.  The high-end renovations to the former SunTrust Center tower will begin in October of 2019, and will include a rooftop amenity deck on the north end of the park, exterior façade renovations to the entrance of the lobby, a complete renovation of the 7-story atrium including new glass, flooring, digital art, as well as new outdoor seating and gaming options in the park. Demolition and renovation of interior office space will include interior walls/partitions, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing fire protection/life safety, ceiling, flooring and high-end finishes.
